Colour Burst

 

Digital Print designs for fashion accessories 2012. These prints were designed for a range of mobile phone cases. Inspired by colours and textures in nature and accidental mark making.

Koi Watercolour 

 

Entrance for BetaFashion animal silk scarf competition 2012. Inspired by koi ponds, emphasised with water colour drawings.

Wearing Death Cells

 

Bag designs inspired by the idea of wearing deceased relatives photographs of cells as a form of memorial piece on garments.

3D Digital

 

 

Initial t-shirt designs for an online t-shirt company. These designs were inspired by smart phone photo editing applications. Using kaleidoscope shapes and editing the print to appear 3D with green and cyan glasses.

Wearing Death Kaleidoscope 

 

Design entry for Art Collision design competition 2014. These designs were inspired by accomplished artists such as the colours of Francis Picabia and mark making of Sonia Delauney. Influenced by the digital age of easy access to photo editing applications on smart phones.

Fruit Kaleidoscope 

 

 

Design for Lamapara design competition for new designs 2014. This design was inspired by retro pixelated games and repeated in Photoshop. Influenced by the recent horse meat scandal, it focuses on over-consumerism and genetically modified foods.

Pixelated Collections

 

My final project was based on the digital age using smartphone applications to edit origial sketches of pixelated images to create fun and quirky prints for womens fashion garments and accessories.

Design Competition

 

For the Swinton Insurance design comptitieon. I was briefed to design several design ideas for the scarves and ties during their redesign. I was awrded second place.
